ASUS is showing us how an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card can draw more than 1000W from the power supply via a single 16-pin power cable. And all of this is possible by using a much higher voltage than usual. The card is recognized by GPU Tweak III as the ASTRAL-RTX5090, and the folks at ASUS managed to get it to draw 1030.3W from the outlet with the voltage set to 48.1V.
