A comparison of Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 6 was conducted using the ASUS RT-BE92U router, testing speeds and signal strength across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands in various rooms. Wi-Fi 7 showed notable improvements in signal strength and speed, particularly in rooms farther from the router. However, Wi-Fi 6 performed comparably in certain scenarios. While Wi-Fi 7 offers significant enhancements, it may not always justify an upgrade depending on specific needs and circumstances.
