This product is not for everyone despite being low-priced and highly energy efficient. I appreciate its build quality, the fanless design, and excellent connectivity options, but its hardware is suitable mostly for computing tasks that do NOT require a lot of processing power. The ASUS ExpertCenter PN42 is a good choice for many kinds of specialized uses: signage, point-of-sale systems, kiosks, intelligent vending machines, or simple low-power servers for home networks and small businesses.
