The ROG STRIX Z790-E stands out with a solid, multi-phase VRM and cooling to match. It's needed because the new Raptor Lakes are hot. Even though it brings a few improvements over the Z690 chipset, the guys at Intel threw in a few extra USB and PCIe 4.0 lines and put out yet another model that, frankly, not many of us need. The ROG STRIX Z790-E is full of USB 3.2 connectivity and besides that, it offers enough front slots as well for most various USB ports.
