The ROG Challenge 2024, organized by ASUS and Bucharest's School Inspectorate, awarded 10 high school students for creating innovative games on the "Republic of Gamers" theme. Over 1,300 participants submitted 140 projects, with 96 games judged. Winners included Mihai Țighiliu for his RPG game "Omni: Project Alpha," built in Unity. Top prizes featured gaming laptops and vouchers. ASUS aims to expand the competition nationwide to inspire programming skills in students.
