With a keyboard, mouse, and docking station, you have a very powerful computer, and if you connect it to a TV and gamepad, you have a very good gaming station. What I didn't think went all the way through is that ASUS hasn't thought about how people interact with the ROG Ally when it's not being used as a console, because it is after all a Windows mini-computer. The Steam deck has those mini trackpads. Here with joysticks, you can't do much, and Windows and touchscreen aren't such good friends.
